Missions :

The ESG Research Analyst develops knowledge on Vigeo Eiris Rating Framework, sectors and themes. The analyst produces ESG research in line with our quality standards and processes for a given company portfolio and contributes to research activities serving Companies and our SRI Clients.

Key responsibilities:

- Collect and analyse all relevant available information and documentation on the companies under their responsibility
- Establish relevant contacts with companies under their responsibility and their stakeholders to obtain additional information
- Analyze, rate, compare the ESG performances of companies under their responsibility according to Vigeo Eiris processes and quality standards
- Deliver the research expected in due time
- Monitor key sectors challenges and trends
- Develop knowledge on ESG challenges associated to sectors and share it internally
- Develop knowledge on Vigeo Eiris Rating Framework and on ESG themes and share it internally
- Contribute to the production of research pieces derivated from ESG Research: derivative products, research papers, etc

Skills and competencies :

- Knowledge on corporate social responsibility, SRI
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English (Vigeo Eiris working language)
- Capable of ensuring high quality information collection and synthesis
- Analytical skills (clarity, relevance, consistency, care)
- Rigorous
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Organizational skills
- Capacity to find a balance between productivity expectations and quality (time management)
- Ability to work autonomously, under the supervision and support of a team
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Office tools
Profil e:
- Student or just graduated. University Degree – ideally linked to SRI-ESG-Sustainability issues
- Interest in sustainable development and responsible investment
